What's In a Name?

Harrah's drops the name of "Chester" in "rebranding" scheme. No comment from the owners of the Philadelphia Union or officials at the Brandywine Conference and Visitors Bureau.

UPDATE: I was remiss not to mention one company in particular that has no room to talk. That would be the Daily Times.

Which City/County gave them all the tax breaks to locate in Chester?

Philadelphia or Delco/Chester.

How's that branding working out for them?

Might I also add that the DTs editorial in semi support for the name change was self serving IMHO since they get advertising dollars from the casino.

When the Philadelphia Union was announced, it was always the Philadelphia Union.

I truly don't care, I have not been in Chester in over 10 years, except driving south on 95.
